About

The LIN Group (Institute of Remote Sensing & GIS, School of Earth and Space Sciences, Peking University) is dedicated to pushing forward a new discipline-crossing branch of 'LiDAR remote sensing of Earth Interactions for Nature understanding' (LIN) in the Earth science, with the focuses mainly on two circles: (1) LiDAR remote sensing technology and (2) Earth interactions-oriented science (illustrated below). The specific research interests include beyond-3D LiDAR remote sensing, 3D forest ecology, circumpolar macro-ecosystem ecology, cube Earth interactions, and 3D global ecology. The extreme goal is to promote the field of Earth science through quantitative LiDAR remote sensing into its new 3D stage.
